Hi friends, happy Tuesday! So sorry that things have been a little quiet around the blog lately! Work and personal travel have both been dominating things lately and it has been hard to keep up with everything.
I’ll start things off with a quick recap of what I have been up to lately! On Friday night James and I headed up with Breckenridge with a few friends, we had rented a place for the weekend. After living in Denver for over 3 years, I finally had my first whiteout driving experience. It was a nightmare, it took us almost 6 hours to get from Denver to Frisco (a drive that usually takes 1.5 hours). Once we were up there it was well worth it. We had a great weekend, full of food, drinks, and skiing!
Yesterday afternoon I headed home to my parents house in Oklahoma for the holiday. Since I work remotely, I get to head home for the holiday without taking any PTO. It has been great catching up with my parents, brother, and extended family!
Whenever I head to my parents house, it is hit or miss if I have access to a gym. I will occasionally go with my brother, but most often he goes straight from work and I prefer to workout earlier in the day. Most often I will either go for a run in the neighborhood or I’ll do some sort of quick bodyweight workout at home.
Today, I chose the latter and threw together a quick Do It Anywhere Bodyweight Workout. All-in-all the Do It Anywhere Bodyweight Workout took me about ~18 minutes. I rounded out the workout with a 2 minute plank hold to hit an even 20. Don’t be fooled by the length of the workout. I was huffing and puffing just a minute in.
It is a 20-15-10-5 workout. Do each exercise 20 times, then 15 times, then 10, then 5, except for the exercises denoted with a 10* next to them. Do them each 10 times (1 side counts as 1).
